What is the best of the Fear Street movies? We rank all three films from the franchise from worst to best.

While we would love to see more of the novels in the Fear Street book series given new life as movies or even TV series on Netflix, there is something to be said for the story that we got to enjoy over the course of the three movie trilogy. Of course, each movie offered something a little different, since each film gave us a storyline set in a different time period.

However, the fact that these movies were set in different times also meant that some stories worked better than others. As a whole, all three movies worked to tell the Fear Street storyline. And yet, if you are looking at each movie on its own merit, I would say that there was definitely some weakness to be had.

Don’t get me wrong, this trilogy was a brilliant way to introduce viewers to the world of not only Fear Street but also the YA novels of R.L. Stine. While many people might associate the writer with his Goosebumps series, we should not be sleeping on the world of Fear Street. (Seriously Stine and Christopher Pike are the reason I love horror and paranormal books and movies.)

Knowing that there are a lot of stories to tell when it comes to Stine and his work, we can’t help but want to rank this trilogy from best to worst. And hopefully, this is just the beginning of Netflix partnering with Stine on movies and shows beyond Goosebumps.

So which movie was the best of the three? And which movie didn’t quite live up to its potential?
