3. Shameik Moore

Shameik Moore’s performances in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse were nothing short of exceptional. He portrayed the character of Miles Morales with a level of authenticity and relatability that captured the hearts of audiences worldwide.

Moore’s ability to convey Miles’ emotional journey as a young, inexperienced superhero grappling with the weight of responsibility was a standout aspect of his performance. His nuanced portrayal of the character’s vulnerability and determination was honestly so captivating and his chemistry with his fellow voice actors was remarkable. He seamlessly integrated into an ensemble cast, effortlessly bouncing off the likes of Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Daniel Kaluuya and Oscar Isaac to create a dynamic and entertaining group of heroes.

His vocal range and delivery were also noteworthy. He seamlessly transitioned between Miles’ moments of self-doubt and his moments of triumph, imbuing the character with an energy and enthusiasm that was infectious.

Originally, Moore ranked lower on this list but after getting to see him back in the role in Across the Spider-Verse, it was clear Moore had cemented himself among the all-time greats to ever play the role of Spider-Man.

His ability to bring Miles Morales to life in such a captivating and memorable way undoubtedly played a significant role in the film’s critical and commercial success. We got to see Miles come into his own in the second film which brought new depths and layers to the character and to Moore’s own performance.

There’s no telling where Miles story will go in the conclusion to the Spider-Verse trilogy, but what we do know is that Moore is going to likely one-up himself again with another breakout performance that will leave audiences wanting more! Let’s just hope Beyond the Spider-Verse won’t be the last time we’ll see this particular version of Miles on the big screen!
