The Walking Dead: Dead City is a huge success for both AMC and AMC+. The newest series in the ever-growing TWD Universe premiered last week with a gritty debut that reintroduced us to two of The Walking Dead‘s most popular characters. And what an introduction it was.

Maggie Rhee and Negan Smith, old enemies turned bitter allies in their wars against The Whisperers, The Reapers and The Commonwealth, found themselves thrown together for a new mission: Rescuing Maggie’s son Hershel from the dangerous grip of a man Negan once knew named The Croat.

That villain is not to be trifled with, but Maggie and Negan sure won’t hold back when they catch up to him in Manhattan. And TWD Universe fans certainly aren’t holding back in sharing their love for the series.

The Walking Dead: Dead City episode 2 premieres on AMC on Sunday, June 25 2023, at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, 8:00 p.m. CT, and 7:00 p.m. MT.

However, if you would prefer to watch it before that, you can stream it on AMC+, which makes all episodes of the series available to subscribers on the Thursday before it airs on AMC.

The second episode is titled “Who’s There?” and it will explore the dangers and uncertainties of New York City as Maggie and Negan attempt to find their bearings and hopefully find Hershel. The question is: Can The Croat be reasoned with?
