Invincible season 2 will debut Mark’s most dangerous enemy

Season 2 of Invincible on Amazon Prime Video will introduce Angstrom Levy and Mark Grayson’s life will never be the same.

Since the teaser dropped earlier this year, there hasn’t been a lot of news coming out regarding of Invincible season 2 on Amazon Prime Video. As frustrating as that is, you can’t rush excellence. A lot goes into Invincible’s story and that can’t be hurried. When the show finally returns, fans will be happy. The creative team is working hard to make sure the story and animation are pristine.

Thankfully, huge news about season 2 was released. As reported by Screen Rant, Mark Grayson (Invincible) will meet his most dangerous enemy later this year. The reality-hopping supergenius Angstrom Levy will make his debut this season on Amazon Prime.

Who is Angstrom Levy in Invincible season 2?

The Viltrumites are strong and cunning, but Angstrom Levy’s intelligence and ability to travel the multiverse makes him beyond them in terms of, well, everything. So much so that he’s actually defeated multiple versions of them. Levy was stranded with them on a barren Earth with nothing to eat or drink. This turned them into savage cannibals. He did this to people he didn’t care about. He does worse to Mark Grayson.

After an experiment goes wrong, Angstrom Levy thought Invincible was the cause (he partly was). After having his looks and his dreams ruined, he sets out to destroy Invincible. Levy’s need for revenge gets more devious when he learns who Mark Grayson is. He rips the limb off the woman he loves, beats his mother, and almost kills Mark on multiple occasions. The Viltrumites eventually do worse as a whole. However, his level of pettiness, rage, and patience is unmatched and ends up causing billions of dollars of property damage worldwide and millions of lives are lost.

If you’re a comic book fan, then you’ve seen some personal rivalries. Sabretooth and Wolverine, Lex Luthor and Superman, and Batman and Joker are among the top three. After the story of Levy and Mark is over, viewers will rank this among the greats. It’s unlike anything that’s been seen in comics.
