Thankfully, for fans of Superman and Lois, the show will return for a fourth season next year.
Last week’s penultimate episode saw the arrival of longtime Superman villain Lex Luthor. Portrayed by Michael Cudlitz, the infamous DC antagonist was released from prison and made the long walk to Smallville, confronting Lois Lane and Clark Kent over his 20-year imprisonment after being sent to prison for a crime he didn’t commit.
Now, Lex has found his way into Bruno Mannheim’s secret lab and discovered Bizarro Superman. What he plans to do with the bad guy remains to be seen, but we can all be sure that his intentions aren’t good.
After 13 episodes that were equally as moving as they were thrilling, Superman and Lois season 3 will conclude with an edge-of-seat season finale that will undoubtedly leave us all wanting more. And it’s a darn good thing that we’re going to get it when the show returns for its fourth season next year.
