When does Superman and Lois season 4 come out?
Clark Kent and Lois Lane will be back on The CW, but when will Superman and Lois season 4 make its way to screens?
Superman and Lois season 3 is bowing out after an edge-of-seat season finale that will see the Fam of Steel go head-to-head with Superman and Lois Lane’s longtime arch-nemesis Lex Luthor. Michael Cudlitz made his debut on the show in the season’s penultimate episode after Luthor was released from prison and the Walking Dead actor is set to be a major part of the show going forward.
Cudlitz joins the show as a series regular in its fourth season. Yes, there is a fourth season to look forward to. The DC TV series was renewed by The CW for a shortened season 4 that will consist of 10 episodes (and will also see some major budget and cast cuts). The announcement came after months of uncertainty about the future of the original CW programming after Nexstar’s takeover.
With season 3 undoubtedly leaving things in an interesting place for the show, when can audiences anticipate Superman and Lois season 4?
Superman and Lois season 4 release updates
Superman and Lois season 4 will premiere on The CW in 2024. While it was one of only four original CW shows renewed by the now Nexstar-owned network, it will be held to next year and will not be a part of the fall schedule.
Currently All American is the only CW original show set to return in the fall, with All American: Homecoming, Walker, and Superman and Lois all set to make their comebacks in 2024. However, with the WGA strike still ongoing, there is a chance that All American could join those other shows in premiering in 2024 instead.
While Nexstar’s cheaper programming approach has resulted in a lot of cuts on Superman and Lois season 4, it’s still good to know that it will return for another adventure next year.
