Superman and Lois has become a fixture of DC TV fans’ lives. With its third season now set to bow out, we look back on each season and rank them.

Superman and Lois is unquestionably one of the finest shows on television right now. The DC TV series was initially envisioned as part of The CW’s Arrowverse, but with the pandemic and the eventual cancellation of some of those shows, the decision was made to keep it separate from the other DC shows on the network.

Nevertheless, we do see Supergirl‘s Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch reprise their respective roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane (albeit as different versions of the characters). Veteran heroes and reporters, the show gives us a look into the lives of the pair as they move out of Metropolis, back to Smallville, so that they can raise their two teenage sons Jonathan and Jordan Kent.

The show’s healthy mix of family drama and high quality super storylines has made it a fan-favorite, and it’s safe to say that its fans are thrilled that it will be back for a fourth season next year. As we bid farewell to season 3 and add it to the batch of super seasons Superman and Lois has produced, let’s take a look back at the show’s journey thus far and rank each season from worst to best (or in this show’s case “good to “great”).
