X-Men: 6 actors we want to see play Beast in the MCU

4. Cameron Monaghan

When it comes to actors who have already proven they can handle comic book roles, Cameron Monaghan is definitely on the list. And since he was actually part of the hit series Gotham, he already knows how to be part of an ensemble cast with a wide range of interesting characters looking to steal a spotlight.

In terms of joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we could easily see Monaghan stepping into the world of the X-Men with ease. And after his multifaceted take on the Joker, it just feels like we not only want to see him in a heroic role but also one where he has to showcase a bit of a tortured soul.

As far as members of the X-Men, Beast is a character we have yet to really do a deep dive with in terms of the big screen. But if they brought in Cameron Monaghan, it just feels like he would be the perfect actor to truly give Beast a chance to tell his story. At the same time, we know the actor has what it takes to bring a level of intelligence to the screen that we would absolutely believe that this Beast is a teacher, leader, and of course a founding member of the X-Men.

And depending on who else was in the cast, it would be fascinating to see how Monaghan plays off of the other actors and actresses since he has repeatedly showcased his ability to be both a scene stealer and someone who can support the other stars in any given scene.
