2. Luke Evans

If you were looking for a mature actor to take on the role of Beast, look no further than Luke Evans. Here is an actor who has proven repeatedly, that he has what it takes to bring maturity to any role, even a villainous role. He has a presence that is impossible to ignore, no matter what role he is taking on.

And I am not going to lie, his role as Gaston in the live-action Beauty and the Beast was the perfect example of why he could actually take on the role of the X-Men’s Beast. His interactions with that Beast may not have been great (can’t forget he was the bad guy here), but it was a reminder that he can handle himself and whatever comes his way.

If you are a fan of the X-Men, then you probably know that Dr. Hank McCoy is actually an intelligent individual. He is suave and debonair, and he is a mutant. All of that gives us a very interesting character, that we think Luke Evans would have a field day bringing to life. Oftentimes, it feels like Hank is one of the smartest people in the room, and that is a big reason why he is a founding member of the X-Men. So we want an actor that we believe is that intelligent and suave. (And maybe it’s me, but Evans has the ability to be both, hands down.)

There is just something about Luke Evans that makes us want to watch him in any role. And I think he would be an amazing addition to the MCU. And what better way to get him into the MCU, than with a role as a member of the X-Men? Of course, he has to take on a role where he is a founding member too.
