6. Marsai Martin
You’re going to see the name Marsai Martin everywhere at someone point, for good reason. The former black-ish star is a fantastic young actress (and the youngest on this list) that’s already made a name for herself post-sitcom. Martin showed she’s a leading (young) lady with her performance in Little where she played a grown woman trapped in a little girl’s body.
Oh, and her film Fantasy Football saw her set a Guinness World Record in 2020 as the youngest Hollywood executive producer to work on a major production. Of course, as the tech-savvy daughter she stole every scene. Given she’s under 23, Martin could play Storm from her very early days as a mutant.

Marvel comic fans know the story of Storm begins before joining the X-Men. Storm’s early life was marked by adversity and self-discovery. Orphaned in Cairo, she learned thievery and combat skills under Achmed El-Gibar’s guidance. In Cairo, she encountered Charles Xavier aka Professor X during an attempted pickpocketing, inadvertently introducing him to the Shadow King.
And there’s a bit of connection to the Black Panther before he became Black Panther of course. In Kenya, she discovered her weather-controlling abilities and helped Prince T’Challa escape from kidnappers. Embraced as a goddess of life by local tribes, Storm learned to use her powers with guidance from Ainet.
Martin could carry a mini-series about Strom before she is reintroduced on the big screen when Professor X has to recruit the tenacious hero to help him save the X-Men. Yes, I know it’s money.
