Not many people will know the name Lovie Simone, but she’s a young, up-and-coming actress who would be perfect for the role of Storm. The young Simone showed off her acting chops in roles that would give fans the assurance that she’d be the perfect storm. The first is Selah in Selah and The Spades. Selah is a complex character with more layers than a wedding cake. She effortlessly switches between vulnerability, ambition, and manipulation.

Selah wrestles with her insecurities and the demands of her position to keep control of her territory. She’s an intellectually shrewd character with drive and ambition.

Simone’s performance goes beyond surface-level portrayal, allowing viewers to delve into Selah’s emotional journey. She conveys Selah’s internal struggles and vulnerability, making her relatable. With her commanding presence and nuanced performance, Lovie Simone proves herself as a talented leading lady. That’s not all. Simone also starred in The Craft: Legacy where she played Tabby.

Anyone who has seen the movie got to see why Simone would make the perfect Storm. Simone’s performance as Tabby exudes strength, confidence, and a certain mystique that echoes the essence of Storm.
