Since the beginning, Samuel L. Jackson has had a major presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Here are all the projects he’s been in ranked from worst to best.
In the post-credit scene at the end of Iron Man, Samuel L. Jackson steps out of the shadows of Tony Stark’s Mansion, introducing himself as Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and teasing that Iron Man isn’t the only hero in the universe. The rest is history.
Ever since then, the character has been a pivotal figure in the MCU’s narrative, appearing in various capacities across 12 projects during his 15 years as the character, ranging in quality and tone. Throughout the years, Fury has continuously evolved, with each new release uncovering something about his life.
He’s easily one of the most vital characters in the MCU and one of the few that have been around since the start without going through a recast or leaving the franchise. Jackson also seems to have no intention of stopping any time soon, with the actor currently starring in the Secret Invasion series on Disney Plus and appearing in The Marvels later this year.
So, excluding his cameos and appearances in post-credit scenes, these are all of Samuel L. Jackson’s Marvel films and tv shows, ranked from worst to best.
