Nick Fury: All 8 Samuel L. Jackson Marvel movies and shows ranked from worst to best

5. Spider-Man: Far From Home
Set a few months after Avengers: Endgame, Far From Home follows Peter Parker as he goes on a class trip to Europe, intent on taking a hiatus from his duties as Spider-Man to enjoy his vacation. His plans get interrupted when approached by Fury, who gives him a pair of high-tech glasses left for him by Tony Stark and requests his help on a mission.
Peter works alongside Fury and a small team, including Quentin Beck, to help take down a group of interdimensional creatures known as “The Elementals” that risk destroying the planet. As the film progresses, Peter discovers that Beck is a disgruntled former Stark employee seeking his 15 minutes of fame and was behind all the attacks, and the two face off.
In the end, Peter defeats Beck but has his identity exposed to the world as a consequence. The post-credit scene reveals that the “Nick Fury” that Peter was interacting with was actually Talos impersonating him and that the real Fury was actually in space aboard the station we now know to be S.A.B.E.R.
Overall, while it is an improvement from Spider-Man: Homecoming in many ways, it’s also a step down in some areas. However, the good outweighs the bad, making it just as good, if not slightly better than its predecessor.
