13. Horseman Death

Logan is among the handful of X-Men that was a Horseman of Apocalypse. He was Death (of course). It was a short but crucial time for Logan. Being forced to fight your friends is a big deal. Even if this happens to him more than anyone.

This writer likes this design. It looks like something one of his original Horsemen would wear. It was especially good since it concealed his identity perfectly.

Grade: A

12. Hydra (Exiles)

Short and simple, the Exiles went to a universe where Hydra ruled. Sue Storm was Madame Hydra and Wolverine was her lover. This was Hydra’s green and yellow colors and their classic print. The only difference was Logan had his normal mask.

This is one of the worst things Logan’s ever been seen in. That’s including Weapon X when he was essentially naked. Thankfully, it didn’t last long and never came back. It must be said that the artist did a fantastic job drawing him. The problem is Hydra’s uniforms have always been awful.

Grade: F

11. Fantastic Four

Wolverine was a member of the Fantastic Four for a cup of tea (Fantastic Four No. 347). During the Marvel Comics event Empyre, Franklin, and Valeria called on Wolverine and Spider-Man to help them. In the latter, Wolverine had his costume fit in with the Fantastic Four. Instead of the “4” in the middle of his chest, an “X” replaced it. Nothing too special, but Logan looked good in this blue.
