2. House of M

During House of M, Logan was the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Red Guard. This team was the House of M’s elite guard and featured Mystique, Jessica Drew, Toad, Rogue, Nightcrawler, and more. During this time, James (he was going by the name he was given at birth) never failed a mission. It’s shocking since this was the antithesis of a stealthy uniform.

The blue, red, and gold made this a very regal design. Considering this was Magneto’s best team, it’s not shocking. He’d want people to look their best since they were representing him and his family (even though a more inconspicuous uniform would have been better). While there was a lot going on, it surprisingly worked for Logan. Who would have guessed nobility would work for him?

Grade: A

1. Plain clothes

Wolverine’s best and most used outfit isn’t the X-Men costume or something from an alternate reality. It’s just him in his regular clothes. This usually consists of a pair of jeans, a tank top, boots, and, of course, a leather jacket. This isn’t just in the comics. He dawns his own clothes during missions in movies and animated features. If you asked Wolverine what he’d rather where, ten times out of ten he’s going to side with his own clothes. He hates tights. Even Old Man Logan prefers this. Granted, Old Man Logan is a bit of a curmudgeon.
