Many fans are eager to see a more mature version of Jean Grey, alongside an established team of X-Men. This would provide the opportunity to explore untold stories on the big screen, including Jean’s pivotal role in Mister Sinister’s diabolical plans.

Within the comic book universe, Jean Grey and Mister Sinister share a bond that originates from genetic manipulation. Mister Sinister, a brilliant geneticist named Nathaniel Essex, becomes captivated by Jean’s extraordinary abilities and genetic potential. By utilizing her genetic material, Sinister creates a clone named Madelyne Pryor, endowing her with powers and physical attributes similar to Jean’s.

Imagine a movie where Nathaniel Essex serves as the menacing threat tormenting the X-Men within the MCU. Jean could be the central focus, grappling with her untapped abilities and confronting memories that were once erased by Professor X. Meanwhile, she becomes unwittingly manipulated by Sinister.

Olivia Cooke would be an excellent choice to portray an adult Jean who is discovering her powers, only to face the sinister plans of Mister Sinister. Many fans recognize her from Bates Motel and Ready Player One. However, her commanding performance as Queen Alicent, the powerful leader of Team Green in House of the Dragon, truly showcases her talent.
