After over a year of waiting, Invincible season 2 on Amazon Prime Video finally has a release date.

It’s been over two years since fans have seen new episodes of Invincible on Amazon Prime Video. The last time Mark Grayson, a.k.a Invincible, was seen, he helplessly watched his father (Omni-Man) leave Earth after ruthlessly beating him. After that, Mark goes back to being a hero, being a student, and not knowing what’s next. The latter is something viewers can relate to. No one knew when the show was returning.

No one knew what was next. Even if you read the comics, things can change in TV adaptations. It’s been two years since new episodes have debuted. Thankfully, good news finally arrived. Amazon Prime Video’s popular show gave fans an update for season 2.

Invincible season 2 release date

Invincible season 2 is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 3, 2023. The eight-episode season will be split into two parts, with the first four episodes coming in November onwards, and the second arriving in early 2024.

That’s not the only exciting part. An all-new trailer (which you can see below) was released. This time, it’s more than Mark and Allen the Alien sitting in a booth at Burger Mart

Another thing to note are the new performers coming in. Peter Cullen (who voices Optimist Prime), Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk and Orphan Black), and Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul) are only three of the 25 new names that were announced. Considering how many characters there are on Invincible, it’s not shocking so many names were announced. The casting department did a fantastic job in season 1. This writer believes they knocked it out of the park again.

The one name this writer is most excited about is Sterling K. Brown. In his extensive and award-winning career, Brown has delivered nothing but flawless performances. Since he’s voicing Mark’s most obsessive antagonist Angstrom Levy (confirmed by ComicBook.com) it will be no different in Invincible. He’s the perfect person to voice him. Sterling K. Brown has the acting range to make Angstrom Levy the villain of the year. You heard it here first.

With a little over three months until Invincible returns to Amazon Prime, there are likely to be more reports on what to expect. Stay tuned to Bam Smack Pow for updates as they come out.
