The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon

It’s been almost a year since The Walking Dead ended but that doesn’t mean we have to say goodbye to all of its beloved characters. Fresh off the success of spinoff TV series The Walking Dead: Dead City (which was just renewed for a second season), the TWD Universe is bringing back another fan-favorite: Norman Reedus’ Daryl Dixon.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will explore another area of the world that we haven’t seen from the franchise yet, taking its titular character all the way to France. Judging by the recent trailer, he’s there to protect a young boy named Laurent, who could very well be the key to leading the revival of humanity.

The show was originally meant to feature Melissa McBride returning to the role of Carol as part of a joint spinoff focused on her and Daryl, but the project evolved when she departed. However, she will be back in some capacity, and with a second season confirmed, there is the hope that we’ll get our Daryl and Carol reunion after all.

Either way, the trailer for this one is stunning. Here’s hoping it lives up to expectations.
