Invincible season 2

Invincible fans are thrilled to know that the wait for new episodes is almost over.

The critically-acclaimed animated series premiered in 2021 with an eight-episode first season that skyrocketed the comic book series it was based on into the mainstream. It also saw Amazon Prime Video continue its streak of superhero success (after successfully adapting The Boys into live-action).

Shortly after its premiere, the show was renewed for a second and third season. But the first of those has been a long time coming. Thankfully, the creative team behind the show has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that the second season keeps the incredibly high standard of the first, keeping fans updated via the social media accounts.

It was confirmed earlier this year that the show would finally return in the second half of the year, with a short trailer teasing fans with what to expect. Now we know when it will arrive, as an announcement during San Diego Comic-Con week revealed the first part of season 2 will premiere in November (with the second half on its way in 2024).

Premiere date: November 3, 2023
