12. Geralt of Rivia

"“Hmmm” – Geralt of Rivia"

Unlike a lot of people on this list, Geralt isn’t going to have players laughing and that’s fine. Having characters without humor breaks things up. Geralt can be snarky but doesn’t need to be a Johnny Cage.

This writer doesn’t know how powerful Geralt is in the video game, but his character on Netflix’s The Witcher is impressive. Everything he does with his magic and sword is more than enough to keep people entertained. He’s brutally beaten hordes of people at once and is known for slaying giant and savage monsters. Defeating the competitors in Mortal Kombat would be a breeze. Especially after he drinks his black potion.

11. Betelgeuse (Beetlejuice)

"“It’s showtime.” – Beetlejuice"

Beetlejuice is the character that Mortal Kombat fans never knew they needed. Think of him as a magical version of Carnage. He can transform his body into things that would hurt anyone from Shoa Khan to Fire God Liu Kang.

If it wasn’t for his arrogance, Beetlejuice could be unstoppable. Imagine him randomly switching his arms from hammers to swords, and then giant comical fists. It would be vicious and entertaining. In short, say his name three times and let him loose. It also helps that Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice 2 is happening. This is a good way to remind people who he is.
