10. Kratos

"“I regret many things. Killing you will not be one of them. Release my son!” – Kratos"

This writer believes Kratos’ appearance in Mortal Kombat 9 was mediocre. It could be because most of Kratos’ basic moves in God of War are finishers in MK. Or maybe expectations were just too high. Either way, bringing him back isn’t a bad idea.

Kratos has a new personality, set of weapons, and outlook on life since appearing in MK 9. This means he’d get a different set of moves. That’s including the x-ray move and fatalities. More importantly, he could be worried about his son. If Kratos was brought to another realm before God of War Ragnarok concluded, he’d rip the sky in half to get back to Atreus. And there are few things scarier than Kratos with a purpose.

9. Soldier Boy

"“Buddy, you think you look strong? You’re wearing a cape. You’re just a cheap (censored) knock-off.” – Soldier Boy"

Jensen Ackles’ portrayal of Soldier Boy in Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys TV series was an upgrade from the source material. Instead of being weak-willed, he was assertive. This is because his powers are almost on the same level as Homelander. In The Boys‘ comic books, he was a submissive version of Captain America. Since Soldier Boy is Homelander’s father, it makes sense.

Soldier Boy’s fighting and powers would make him a desired character, but his personality sells him. His interactions with everyone would be sarcastic and sometimes offensive. Of course, talking with Homelander would result in interesting dialogue. However, the best one would come from him meeting Peacemaker. They’re essentially the same person.
