Loki and Sylvie reunite in stunning Loki season 2 “first look” poster
A new fan-designed poster for Loki season 2 is giving us life.
If Loki season one’s finale is anything to go by, the God of Mischief has plenty of tricks up his sleeve, and fans are in for a treat.
A new concept poster from designsuperhero on Instagram features Tom Hiddleston and Sophia DiMartino’s Loki and, well, Loki (Sylvie) sitting together in a beautiful field, and it looks amazing! It also sparks some hope and curiosity regarding the upcoming second season.
As we can’t help but root for Hiddleston’s Loki, who never fails to add an enchanting layer of mischief to the character. With Sophia DiMartino’s Sylvie, one of Loki’s many variants, giving him a run for his money, DiMartino’s return as Sylvie is also very heavily celebrated.
The first season concluded with Sylvie eliminating He Who Remains, one of Kang the Conqueror’s variants, portrayed by Jonathan Majors. This act sliced open the Multiverse, and when Loki popped back to the TVA, things had very much changed. Nobody remembered him, and statues of He Who Remains now occupied the TVA’s halls.
Loki season 2 cast
Marvel has left us fans hanging on a few details when it comes to the complete cast for Loki‘s second season. However, we do know that Hiddleston is reprising his role as Loki, obviously and thankfully. Familiar faces like Owen Wilson (Mobius), DiMartino (Sylvie), and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Ravonna Renslayer) are also set to return, as they should.
However, Loki does have some buzz surrounding it. New notable entries on the cast list include Ke Huy Quan (Waymond Wang from Everything Everywhere All at Once) and Kate Dickie (Lysa Arryn from Game of Thrones), but details about their roles are still unrevealed. Also, whether we’ll see Jonathan Majors return as a Kang variant is still a somewhat touchy subject, though Marvel has given no signs that Kang will be recast.
Loki season 2 return date
While the second season of Loki is all set to release on October 6, 2023, we can’t help but wish we had more details as we’re about to enter August. A teaser trailer for season 2 was released a couple of weeks ago, and it’s only piqued our interest more.
Given the success of the first season, hopes are soaring high for Loki‘s second season. If season one’s finale is anything to go by, the most gorgeous troublemaker I’ve ever seen God of Mischief has plenty of tricks up his sleeve, and fans are in for a treat.
