X-Men: SPOILER may have killed mutants, but there’s still hope

The survivors
The elite mutants in The X-Men were protected from telepathic attacks by something called the Red Triangle Protocol. Xavier created this protocol in case someone like him or Emma Frost came after them. Their thoughts say “resist” and form a triangle in red. The red symbolizes danger while the triangle is the strongest geometric shape.
The triangle also represents the conscious, unconscious, and subconscious. This protocol stopped mutants like Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, and Kate Pryde from following Xavier’s telepathic suggestion. That means there are still X-Men on Earth.
That’s not the only good news. Thanks to Lourdes, other characters were teleported away before Orchis could kill them. Part of that was thanks to Wilson Fisk killing an Orchis assassin before they could get the kill shot.
Speaking of Wilson Fisk, he’s in for the mutant cause as well. During the “Mutant Massacre,” as Moira X is calling it, Typhoid Mary (Fisk’s wife who’s also a mutant) disappears. Wilson wants to know where his wife is and make sure that she’s safe. That means teaming up with the X-Men. He may not have access to his vast wealth, but he has the resources the X-Men need to fight back.
