Marvel: 6 actors we want to see play the next Quicksilver in the MCU

Quicksilver has already been a part of the MCU in the past, but now it is time to let him shine back with the rest of the X-Men where he truly belongs.

When it comes to iconic X-Men characters, Quicksilver might not be at the top of your list. However, thanks to the Scarlet Witch, he should be.

As a fan of both Marvel Comics and the MCU, we already know that Quicksilver has already been established in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to his relationship to Wanda Maximoff. The fact that his sibling has been working alongside the Avengers following his death in the MCU, means that we have already seen two versions of an MCU Quicksilver (even if one was part of Wanda’s breakdown that led to her embracing her powers as the Scarlet Witch).

However, we really want the chance to see a Quicksilver in the same sphere as the rest of the MCU X-Men. And with the X-Men getting a chance to become part of the MCU officially, this is a great opportunity for a revived take on the character, beyond what we have already gotten to see.

While Quicksilver has been portrayed in the comics as an adversary of the X-Men, he has also been shown as a superhero in his own right. And whether they opt for a villain to hero redemption arc or choose to go with him being heroic right from the start, we need to find the perfect actors to take on the role as part of the MCU’s X-Men.
