2. Aidan Gallagher

If you have ever watched The Umbrella Academy on Netflix, then you know exactly who Aidan Gallagher is, as he portrayed Number Five in the series. In a lot of ways, he is a big reason why the story has progressed the way it has for all of his on-screen siblings.

What makes Gallagher a great choice for the MCU’s X-Men, and in particular the role of Quicksilver, stems from what he has already brought to the table in The Umbrella Academy. He has showcased his ability to bring comic book material to life in a fresh manner, while also staying true to the source material in his own way.

On top of already being part of a comic-based ensemble piece, Aidan Gallagher is also young enough that he could not only represent a younger version of the character of Quicksilver, but he could grow with the role as well.

It helps that Gallagher already has a fanbase thanks to not only The Umbrella Academy, but also his role of Nicky in the Nickelodeon series, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. He has people who will want to watch him as part of the MCU and he is also up-and-coming enough to build a new following as well. All of this to say that he is exactly what the MCU needs for their version of the X-Men.
