3. Dylan O’Brien

If you want to see a different side of Nightcrawler, then we need to have Dylan O’Brien step into the role. While the mutant has a serious side, we also know that he can have fun as well. Perhaps it is because of who he is and how he was raised, but there are moments when you just know that Kurt Wagner is looking for the bright side of life. And he knows that even in the darkest moments, you need to be able to smile.

Knowing all of this, there is one actor who seems perfectly suited to bringing that version of the character to life and that would have to be Dylan O’Brien. Maybe the best aspect of having him step into the MCU is the fact that thanks to his turn as Stiles in Teen Wolf, he has already showcased a strong ability to be part of a team and to help save others.

We know that O’Brien can bring a sense of humor to a role, while also being a fierce fighter and leader. Over the course of his career so far, he has proven that he can be a scene stealer and someone who can be in the background without disappearing. And if you want to have a new team of X-Men, then you need actors who have the ability to both be a leader and be able to step back and let others shine.

Adding Dylan O’Brien to the MCU by way of the X-Men would be such a brilliant move and it is definitely one that we want to see in the future. If he were to be offered the role of Nightcrawler, it just feels like he would be the perfect way to build up the MCU’s X-Men from the very beginning.
