4. Father and Son

Comic book: Uncanny X-Force

Even after Daken found out the truth about his mother’s death, his disdain for his father (Wolverine) didn’t end. Logan tried his best to get his son to see the truth, but decades of hate and abuse from Romulus couldn’t change him. It wasn’t until Daken threatened to kill the kids at the Jean Grey School of Higher Learning that he realized the truth. No matter what, his son wasn’t going to change.

Wolverine and Daken fought, and Logan won. It wasn’t just a fight. In order to get Daken to stop, he had to kill him. The fight concludes with Wolverine drowning his son in a puddle. This is one of the many moments that Wolverine will never forget or forgive himself for.

3. Sharon Carter kills Captain America

Comic book: Captain America: The Death of Captain America

Captain America (Steve Rogers) surrendered in the final issue of Marvel Comics’ Civil War. Now he had to go to trial. On his way there, Crossbones attempted to kill him from a roof. Being the hero that he is, Rogers tried to protect everyone in the area.

Unbeknownst to him, Sharon Carter was brainwashed by Dr. Faustus. When he was protecting her from incoming fire, she shot and killed Captain America. She was actually the person who killed Steve Rogers on the courthouse steps.
