2. Deadpool vs everyone

Comic book: Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe

Deadpool is an underrated fighter. Some readers look at him and think that everything with him is haphazardly done. This is far from the truth. Deadpool is chaotic and improvises well, but he almost always has a great plan. Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe shows this.

Let’s be clear, Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe is clearly an example of a character doing whatever a writer wants. Deadpool even hints at that in this issue. Nevertheless, Wade finding creative ways to kill an entire superhero universe was impressive. This writer’s favorite was Thor being crushed by a giant Mjolnir made by Pym Particles.

1. Batman

Comic book: Final Crisis

Batman hates guns. There have been times he’s used them, but they’ve become the last option. In this case, it was against Darkseid. He shoots the ruler of Apokolips with a bullet made of the same stuff that killed Orion. As soon as Batman’s bullet hits, Darkseid’s Omega Beams kill Batman.

No one went into Final Crisis thinking that Batman was going to die. It seems impossible. How could he be killed? He’s Batman! Yet, it happened. This is the most memorable moment from Final Crisis by far. For Batman, this has to be a fitting death. He’s killed protecting the universe from the deadliest being to ever exist.
