POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR FUTURE SEASONS OF INVINCIBLE!!!!!

24. Invincible vs (censored)

Comic book: Invincible: Viltrumite War

Conquest made three mistakes. The first was making things personal with Invincible. The second was not killing Mark when he had a chance. The last was being arrogant. He talked as if he couldn’t be defeated. Conquest found out the hard way that talk is cheap.

The two combatants fell from space, Mark grabbed Conquest’s throat and didn’t let go. Even after they hit the ground. Mark defeated him despite Conquest previously punching a hole in his stomach. Conquest said he was going after Eve and Mark made sure that didn’t happen.

23. Gwen Stacy

Comic book: Amazing Spider-Man No. 121

The death of Gwen Stacy is well-documented among comic book fans. If you’ve never read the comic book where she was killed, it was similar to what happened in Amazing Spider-Man 2 (you can see it in the video above). Peter went to save her from the fall (caused by the Green Goblin) and accidentally snapped her neck.

This wouldn’t normally be ranked among the more brutal comic book deaths. It’s tame compared to the deaths that have happened since. Nevertheless, it may be the most iconic. A lot of what Spider-Man is stems from this moment. It was the first time since Uncle Ben died that he lost someone he loved. To make it worse, it was the first woman he loved.
