With X-Men now being part of the MCU, it is time for a new Gambit to rise.

For the longest time, it seems like there have been plans for a solo Gambit movie. However, that X-Men spinoff has not materialized, even with an actor firmly attached to the role. And with the X-Men joining the MCU, it’s time for new plans for this particular character.

If we are going to get a new version of Gambit aka Remy LeBeau on the big screen, then we need to come up with our wish list of actors who could potentially portray the character.

While Channing Tatum has been attached to the never actually made solo Gambit project for years now, it might be time for everyone to move on and for a new Gambit to be found. On-screen, we did get to see Taylor Kitsch give this character some life in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but honestly that wasn’t enough to really satisfy any fans of Gambit.

Now that the MCU is in charge, there are actually a few different actors that we could potentially see stepping into this world of mutant heroes. And in particular, there are at least six that we think have what it takes to give life to this fascinating character.

Considering Gambit is one of the stronger mutants out there, with a gift over kinetic energy, it makes sense that a wide range of actors could take on the part. However, we want someone who we can believe in the role of both a hero and a sarcastic, sassy mutant.

So who are some of our picks for this part?
