7 actors who should’ve replaced Henry Cavill as Superman instead of David Corenswet

The DCU is rebooting their Superman and that means Henry Cavill is out and David Corenswet is in. But who else could have replaced Cavill?

Honestly, the whole drama surrounding Henry Cavill’s dismissal from the DCU/DCEU is one that we are still not over. And until David Corenswet actually hits the big screen as the next Man of Steel and proves that he has what it takes to bring the iconic superhero to life, we are going to look at some other actors that we think could have replaced Cavill instead.

Even if you wanted Henry Cavill to stick around as Superman (I know I did), it was inevitable that we would eventually need a new actor to step up and take on the role. And while it happened sooner than we might have wanted, there are actually quite a few actors who made our shortlist of possible Superman replacements.

For years there have been talks about different actors who would make a great Superman, so it makes sense that a lot of us have wish lists of people we think would be amazing as the superhero who can fly, has laser vision, and basically can save the world with his bare hands.

From actors who have already had their time as superheroes (and villains) on the big screen to actors who have yet to really be a part of the comic book world, we have seven actors that we think would have been brilliant as the next Superman.
