5. Jacob Elordi

Honestly, his jawline and height (the actor is 6’5″) are reason enough to have me thinking that Jacob Elordi would be a great fit for the role of Superman. He has a literal presence about him that is truly superhero worthy. But of course, looks are not enough when it comes to such an iconic casting.

If you have never watched Elordi on screen, you are missing out. He has showcased an ability to be a strong presence on the screen, stealing scenes and making you think that he is the star of whatever project he is working on (whether he is or isn’t the star). One of the things that really stands out about the actor is the fact that he is genuinely charming.

When we say we want a charismatic actor to step into the role of Superman, we mean it. And over the course of his career so far, Jacob Elordi has showcased this ability to be charming, charismatic, and personable. Of course, there is also that darker side that we have seen in Euphoria as well, which is another aspect of the hero that needs to be considered as well after all we have seen a darker edge to Superman, so having someone who has shown us this before is not a bad thing.

He has all the qualities that make Clark Kent a hero, and he does it in a way that isn’t over the top or overbearing. If Elordi had been given a chance to take on this role, it just feels like he would have smashed it out of the park, much like has in other roles. And at the same time, he is young enough that there is plenty of potential for him to be in the role for years to come, which would have been an epic win all around.
