Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner) DCU

The Last Green Lantern, Kyle Rayner, was a gifted comic book artist struggling to make ends meet in Los Angeles. Rayner’s father Aaron Rayner abandoned his mother when she was pregnant leaving her to raise Kyle as an only child.

When Hal Jordan’s hometown of Coast City is destroyed, he goes on a murderous rampage taking the lives of many of the members of the Green Lantern Corps. A member of the Guardians of the Universe, Ganthet, would later give Kyle the last working Green Lantern power ring. At the time it was just for Kyle being at the right place at the right time but many have come to state that there was a bigger reason for Ganthet to choose Kyle over anyone else.

This Green Lantern story could be a refreshing take on the widely known character and give a chance for Taylor to take on a solo Green Lantern project, hopefully with better luck and execution than the previous attempt.

Spider-Man 2099 (Miguel O’Hara) MCU

The world of Spider-Man seems to be one of the more popular corners of the Marvel universe with many films, TV shows, and comics exploring the lore of Spider-Man and his colorful array of villains and allies. One popular character from the Spider-Man universe is Miguel O’Hara aka Spider-Man 2099.

Miguel is from a future New York where he attends the Alchemax School for Gifted Youngsters due to his prodigal intelligence. As an adult, Miguel eventually becomes head of the genetics program of Alchemax and is inspired by records on Spider-Man and aspires to create a powerful being in his likeness. Miguel receives his powers after attempting to rewrite his DNA to free himself of a drug that was given to him but learns that 50% of spider DNA has now been infused in his genetic code.

Recently in the Sony animated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, we follow Miles Morales’ Spider-Man in a multiverse storyline where we are introduced to Miguel O’Hara voiced by Oscar Isaac. Taylor would be a great choice if the character were to make his live-action crossover.
