Hugh Jackman Wolverine movies ranked

Going back to the year 2000 there have been a total of 13 X-Men feature films from the Fox Marvel universe with nine of them featuring Hugh Jackman as the iconic mutant Wolverine.

Wolverine was last featured in 2017’s Logan where the character met his ultimate fate, ending the character’s story arc within the Fox Marvel universe. As of last year, it is known that Wolverine’s unfortunate death will be short-lived with the official announcement from Wolverine actor himself along with Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds that Wolverine will be back for one final hurrah alongside the merc with a mouth in the upcoming threequel Deadpool 3.

Hugh Jackman has stated that this appearance will not void his death in Logan implying that the Wolverine he will be playing in Deadpool 3 will be from a completely different timeline than the previous X-Men films which falls more in the field of what the Marvel Cinematic Universe is doing with their recent films exploring the multiverse.

While we are still some time away from seeing Wolverine back in action, let’s take a look back at Hugh Jackman’s previous performances as Wolverine in the X-Men films from his worst moments to his ultimate best.
