1. Logan

By far the best and top performance by Hugh Jackman as the mutant Wolverine would have to be his final bow in 2017’s epic chapter to the saga, Logan. Beautiful, gritty, stylish, and thrilling. Here we see how old age has finally caught up to Logan resulting in his healing factor working slower than ever before and how all his battles and trauma have affected him over the years.

Hugh Jackman gives one of the best performances in his career in Logan, showcasing what a talented actor he is. The admiration and love that Jackman has for the role really is shown in all its glory in this final chapter.

Set in the distant future where mutants are almost all extinct, Logan’s attempt at a quiet and normal life it’s thrown into chaos when a young mutant enters his life and brings a storm of disaster with her when he learns she’s being targeted by a group of scientists with malicious intentions. This new threat forces Logan to go back to his old ways and does his best to protect this child who he learns is much more like him than he could ever imagine.

Logan is full of emotional moments and the most thrilling of all action sequences in the history of X-Men and Wolverine films. Worth watching for any superhero movie fan or fan of cinema in general.
