Wolverine: Every Hugh Jackman X-Men movie ranked worst to best
5. X-Men
The moment it all started, the first-ever live-action feature film of the X-Men. This was a big deal for many Marvel and X-Men fans as we got to see our favorite mutants for the first time on the big screen.
It was a proud moment for any fan even though the film took a different narrative for the characters most famously trading their iconic yellow uniforms for black leather suits that worked better with the vision director Bryan Singer had for the mutants.
Here we are introduced to Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine for the first time when he is met by a young Rogue played by Anna Paquin. One of the reasons this performance of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is the best is because thanks to his role in this film it launched his career as an actor after the film’s big success, with only being previously known for his musical stage background. Jackman shows what a natural talent he is and why this role was meant for him.
He truly embodied Wolverine in a way that most actors wouldn’t. Hugh would go on to play Wolverine for years to come truly defining and cementing himself in a role loved by fans and critics alike.
