11. Aquaman

Yes, the DC hero who benefited the most from DCEU makes an early appearance on the list.

In the comics, Aquaman was a joke. He’s part of the Justice League, but what did he bring to the table? Not much, considering he spent more time chatting with dolphins than kicking villain butts. Sure, he’s depicted as a god-like character, talking to sea creatures and all, but let’s face it, even Poseidon would probably fall asleep listening to his ocean tales.

Let’s be real, Aquaman isn’t exactly the life of the superhero party. They even brought Cyborg on board, probably to offset Aquaman’s lackluster contributions. I mean, who needs a guy who can talk to fish when you’ve got a half-man, half-machine walking computer?

It’s not that Aquaman doesn’t have his moments. The comics have tried to make him interesting over the years. They’ve given him a cool trident, sick armor, and some edge. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s the king of Atlantis.

Oh, and comic book fans all know those cringe-worthy attempts at giving him edgy catchphrases. “Outrageous!”? Really? You know what, maybe he isn’t the most hated — he’s too boring to invoke that sort of emotion. That’s why he’s No. 11.
