8. Amazo

Amazo, is powerful, there’s no denying that. He’s an android that mimics superheroes’ powers, but that’s about where the intrigue ends. He’s like that plot device you can spot from a mile away, and that’s exactly why he’s earned a spot on the list of DC’s most aggravating characters.

Sure, he’s got the power-stealing gig down pat, but beyond that? Well… he’s like the one-trick pony at the circus – you’ve seen it, you’ve yawned, you’ve moved on. It’s like DC writers figured they’d throw in this power-grabbing android to stir the pot, but the pot ended up being as bland as boiled spaghetti.

Even in adaptations like Young Justice and the Batman animated flick “Under the Red Hood,” Amazo gets the short end of the stick. He’s the equivalent of a throwaway character – the kind you remember only when someone reminds you of their existence. His overpowered nature might be the stuff of nightmares for the heroes, but it’s just plain snooze-inducing for the audience.

OP and boring? Yeah, that’s Amazo in a nutshell. He’s like that puzzle piece that never quite fits, no matter how much you try. The crazy part about is, he has potential.
