8. Rick and Morty’s snake time-travel

Episode: “Rattlestar Ricklactica”

While in space, Morty kills a snake astronaut and feels bad. In order to make things right, Morty brings an Earth snake to a sentient snake planet. Their planet has a civilization like Earth, except, you know, they’re snakes. What Morty doesn’t realize is that Earth snakes don’t have the same dialect. This leads to the snakes of this planet finding out about life on other planets and time travel.

Apparently, Morty bringing another snake to that planet caused the robot snake apocalypse. Robot Snake Terminator came to Earth to protect Morty. Robot snakes followed him from the future to stop the Terminator. This ends when Rick and Morty travel through time to stop all of this from happening. This may sound confusing, but it’s not as bad as Tenet.

7. Fortune cookie

Episode: “Final DeSmithation”

While at Panda Express, Jerry gets a fortune that says he’ll have sex with his mother. Of course, no one takes this seriously. Not only is this absurd, the message came from a fortune cookie. However, after Rick scans Jerry, he sees that Jerry’s probability fields are off.

After a test and a return trip to Panda Express, Jerry and Rick discover that there’s an alien creating the fortune cookies from its poop (seriously). The alien’s feces is making the fortune come true. If not for Rick’s help, Jerry would have done something unthinkable.
