6. Jason Isaacs

He might just be the ultimate bad guy actor of Hollywood. Jason Isaacs has delivered every single time that he has stepped into the role of a villain.

And while he has certainly had a very interesting career, many people might recognize him as none other than Lucius Malfoy himself. The fact that he plays the elder Malfoy, who was wrapped up in all of the awful things that Voldemort was up to in an effort for power, is a perfect example of how truly invested in being a villain Isaacs gets.

However, his ability to give us multifaceted villains is actually not the only reason why it feels like Jason Isaacs would be a brilliant choice for the character of Magneto/Eric Magnus. So what is the other reason we think he would be a good choice for the role?

In the comics, Eric is a holocaust survivor. His Jewish heritage and what he survives is a major part of his character arc. And while it is not necessary to have a Jewish man step into the role, it does seem like it would add something special to the part. That is where Isaacs comes into the picture.

Knowing that Jason Isaacs is in fact Jewish means that his casting would be a chance to better represent the character and his history. The fact that Isaacs is a brilliant actor is just the icing on the cake.
