X-Men: 6 actors we want to see play Magneto in the MCU
2. Antony Starr
Honestly, if ever there was an actor who is almost too good at being a villain, it would absolutely be Antony Starr. Thanks to his role as Homelander in The Boys, we already know that he can be a powerful villain. And the fact that he brings so much to the role that makes you believe he is a super powered bad guy with a backstory that makes sense for who he is also means that he would be a great addition to the MCU.
While there are likely any number of roles within the MCU that Starr could step into, it really feels like he has the presence to be a mutant leader. And not only that, but we would absolutely believe that he is a powerful mutant with power of magnetism and the ability to completely destroy electronic devices with his gifts.
Thanks to his work on The Boys, we know he can be a believable villain with powers. And we also know that he can be a member of a team, even when he is the leadership role. He has a commanding presence on screen and it just makes sense that he would step into the MCU as a member of the X-Men and especially a founding member turned antagonist and villain.
Although Antony Starr is already playing a super villain (and one who is technically mocking both the MCU and DCU superheroes), it would be amazing to bring him into the fold of the MCU and have him actually be a part of such a high profile comic series.
