X-Men: 6 actors we want to see play Magneto in the MCU

1. John David Washington

When you look at potential casting lists for the next Magneto, there is one actor who seems to pop up quite often. And that is Denzel Washington. However, we don’t necessarily want Denzel, but we wouldn’t mind having his son!

As the son of Denzel Washington, John David Washington has a lot to live up to when it comes to acting chops. However, he has already showcased his talents in a few different roles, including Tenet, The Creator, and BlacKkKlansman.

It would be nice to have Washington join the MCU in a major role, and what better role for him than that of Magneto. In a lot of ways, Magneto is not just a sympathetic character, he is also one with such a fascinating character arc that we want an actor who can step into the role and bring it to life in his own way.

It would be nice to have an actor who is maybe not as well known get cast as Magneto in the MCU’s X-Men because it would be a chance to really reboot the character. It would be a chance to potentially take the role in a new direction as well, depending on how the MCU decides to shake things up with their take on the X-Men.

John David Washington has already showcased a level of talent that we think would be perfect for the MCU, so having him step into the role of a mutant leader really does make perfect sense.
