3. Cicada 2.0 (portrayed by Sarah Carter)

While we already disliked the original Cicada, the second version of the character did not fare much better. In our ranking of the most annoying characters within the show’s universe, Cicada 2.0 secures the fourth spot — a position earned through a combination of underdeveloped characterization and a lackluster presence.

The character of Cicada 2.0 fell short in terms of depth and development, which prevented her from being a truly engaging antagonist. Despite the show’s exciting plotlines, she ultimately became forgettable and less interesting compared to other characters and subplots.

The return of Cicada has caused déjà vu and raised concerns about her impact. Some fans are disappointed with the way her character was used, as the initial threat fizzled out.

Although the character showed potential at first, Cicada 2.0 ended up being a bothersome addition with unmet expectations. This missed opportunity places her as the fourth most annoying character in the series.
