WandaVision will finally be available to own on Blu-ray and UHD for the first time.
To call WandaVision a triumph wouldn’t be enough to sum up how successful it was. The very first Disney Plus series produced by Marvel Studios, it took the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a new direction and gave some long overdue spotlight to Wanda Maximoff and Vision.
Taking the form of many classic TV sitcoms early on in its nine-episode run, it evolved into a moving tale of grief and tragedy as Wanda came to terms with the loss of Vision in Avengers: Infinity War. It also received acclaim from fans and critics, earning multiple Emmy nominations along the way, and it is still considered by many to be the best of the MCU original shows.
The fact that it was a Disney Plus original series made it impossible for fans to add it to their physical MCU collections, raising questions about whether the Phase Four collections would feel incomplete without them. Thankfully, that will no longer be an issue for WandaVision as Marvel Studios has finally confirmed that the show will be getting its own physical media release.
WandaVision gets Blu-ray and UHD release date
WandaVision is finally coming to Blu-ray and 4K UHD. As reported by ComicBook.com, the collection, titled WandaVision: The Complete Series, will be released in the form of a SteelBook, which also comes with exclusive art cards and some never-before-seen bonus features, and it will be released on November 28, 2023.
It won’t be the only MCU show making its arrival on Blu-ray as Loki‘s first season will also be getting the SteelBook treatment. It arrives much earlier, being available from September 26 2023 (just in time for season 2’s premiere on October 6).

Earlier this year, it was announced that WandaVision would be getting an exclusive SteelBook release, but without any disc. Naturally, that announcement didn’t go down too well for audiences who wanted to actually own the series physically. Now, they will finally get that chance.
The two MCU shows will be joined on disc by both the first two seasons of Star Wars’ The Mandalorian. It’s not surprising that these are the first four releases as they were the most popular and adored Disney Plus originals thus far, and it suggests we’re finally moving into an era where fans can own streaming shows on disc.
Here’s hoping releases for the other MCU shows will soon follow.
