The first episode of Ahsoka was the perfect way to bring in new fans. The series premieres and immediately gets into Light Saber attacks and the Force. Leading the charge were Baylan Skoll and his apprentice, Shin Hati. While there, they helped Morgan Elsbeth escape captivity. This leads directly to her mentioning that Ahsoka Tano knows about the map and Thrawn. Little do they know, she’s already found it.

In order to unlock the map Ahsoka goes to her old apprentice, Sabine Wren. Being the rebel that she is, Wren disobeys orders and takes the orb home to unlock it. Once she figures out the pattern, the orb displays a constellation. Before she can figure out what it’s showing, she’s attacked Shin Hati’s droids. Sabine tries to get it back but receives a near-death blow from Shin Hati.

In episode 2, Morgan Elsbeth decodes the map and finds where Thrawn has been banished. She says he’s calling to her beyond time and space. Shin Hati is skeptical. He calls it fairy tales. Considering he’s a Jedi, he should be more open-minded. Especially since they can sense the Force from long distances and sometimes after death.

Episode 3 will show Wren getting back into the swing of things. As she mentioned, she’s out of practice. This upcoming battle will help her relearn the skills she may have forgotten. It’s obvious that Ahsoka Tano needs more help with three Siths stopping her from achieving her goal. Wren will be the one to give her the assistance she needs. However, it may not be as a Jedi’s apprentice. The end of the episode shows her wearing her Mandalorian armor. Either way, their interactions will certainly be entertaining. Plus, who’s to say she can’t be a Jedi and Mandalorian?
