It’s officially another holiday weekend in the United States, and this one is the unofficial mark of the end of summer. Though it won’t be fall for a few more weeks, families and friends across the country are getting ready to gather for one last barbeque or swim of the year. If you’re like us and you’re mostly just looking forward to getting some movie and TV watching in this Labor Day Weekend, you’re probably looking to see what’s new on all the streamers.

And while we have the exciting addition of The Little Mermaid coming to Disney+ this month on Wednesday, Sept. 6, if you were hoping you’d finally be able to watch Indiana Jones 5 this weekend or sometime soon, we come bearing bad news. The September 2023 lineup for Disney+ has been released, and it looks like we’re still left waiting for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny to come to streaming. It’s been confirmed the new movie won’t be on the platform this month.

When will Indiana Jones 5 come to Disney+?

I know, the wait to watch Indiana Jones 5 at home is getting painful. But it’s not all bad news, because we have reason to believe the Harrison Ford movie could be coming to Disney+ in October 2023. The Little Mermaid was released in theaters about a month prior to Indiana Jones 5 in late May, and that movie is coming to streaming next week. Taking that into consideration, we believe Indiana Jones 5 will be on Disney+ sometime about a month later in October.

This suspected October streaming release date has not been confirmed by Disney, so please take our prediction with a grain of salt, but it would make sense.

For those who can’t wait another month (or potentially more), Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was just released on digital this week, and you can currently buy the movie on Amazon Prime Video for $19.99.

As for what is available on Disney+ right now, the first three episodes of Ahsoka are available to stream, with new episodes being released every Tuesday evening. You can also watch (or rewatch) a wide variety of Marvel movies on the platform, including the MCU, X-Men films, and more.

Whatever you decide to watch this weekend, we hope you have an enjoyable and safe Labor Day!
