10. Olivia Munn in X-Men: Apocalypse

If you ask people what the worst X-Men movie is, you’ll get multiple answers. This writer says X-Men: Apocalypse is the bottom of the barrel. Beyond most of it not being memorable, the biggest atrocity was the wasted talent. Not just Oscar Isaac. Olivia Munn’s Psylocke was as well.

Munn didn’t have a lot of lines or screen time, but she showed potential. Even before the movie was filmed, she took the role seriously. She practiced with a sword to look believable. A skill she still has. This is because she’s a nerd herself and knows what playing a comic book character means. There’s a chance she’ll be seen again. Deadpool 3 is supposed to feature multiple Fox Marvel characters. She could be one of them.

9. Ian McKellen in X-Men: The Last Stand

If Ian McKellen was on the screen he was brilliant. His performance as Magneto set the bar for the character going forward. In the third X-Men movie, he had to carry a heavy load throughout. Thankfully, carrying things is easy for the Master of Magnetism.

Ian McKellen freed mutants from a government truck, moved the Golden Gate Bridge, and made it look effortless. Without him, X-Men: Last Stand would be unwatchable. Although, you’re better off just watching the scenes he’s in.
