Goodbye, Daniel Craig. Hello, all the possibilities. Let’s look at 9 fine talented actors who could don the name of James Bond next.

So, Daniel Craig is hanging up his Walther PPK, leaving a bullet-sized hole in the James Bond cinematic universe. Let’s face it, those are some impeccably polished shoes someone else will have to fill. But hey, our martinis are prepped and our bow ties are straightened as we look at a list of top-tier talent who could not only carry on Bond’s legendary license to kill, but also give the James Bond franchise a breath of fresh air. Yes, taking over the role would be a task as complex and tricky as trying to disarm a nuke, but these nine actors have the chops, the absolutely gorgeous eyes charm, and the incredibly chiseled jawlines to pull it off.

Yeah, I totally didn’t enjoy writing this article.

Replacing the irreplaceable is never easy, but then again, the best spies love a challenge, don’t they? We’re talking about actors who would look incredibly hot great in a tuxedo, court the beautiful and somewhat dangerous lady (or man, or both, or neither – it’s 2023, my friends), outsmart villains, and, most importantly, look utterly hot nonchalant while doing it. These men aren’t just actors: They are performers who have what it takes to capture that unique blend of menace and magnetism that makes James Bond the icon he is.

So refill that martini, adjust your cufflinks, and let’s dive into the dossier of candidates who could very well be the next to say: “The name’s Bond, James Bond.”
