6. Gideon

One of the most fulfilling aspects of Legends of Tomorrow‘s seventh and final season was finally getting to see Gideon join the team in person. The truth is that Gideon has always been one of the Legends; she’s been part of the team from the very beginning and she was the last remaining original member of the team left outside of Sara Lance. And that’s why it was wonderful seeing Amy Louise Pemberton get to have some fun as a living, breathing version of the character alongside the rest of the Legends.

The voice of reason who single-handedly guided the Legends through each and every mission, steering them to their destination (and many times back on-course), Gideon is perhaps the most important Legend of them all. She has always accepted those on the team and treated them with an equal amount of love and respect. And her bond with original Waverider captain Rip Hunter was among the best-established relationships on the show.

The voice of Legends, Gideon has our whole hearts, as does the wonderful Amy Louise Pemberton, who delivered a truly delightful performance every time Gideon was on-screen or gifting us with her knowledge.

Everyone should have a Gideon in their lives.
