Batman fighting his family members may have crossed the line in DC Comics: Gotham War.
Batman and Catwoman (Selina Kyle) are currently fighting over who’s properly protecting Gotham City. Selina’s training the former henchmen of Gotham’s villains to be cat burglars with rules. Batman believes there’s no grey area. Regardless of the severity of the crime, they’re still lawbreakers.
After the death of one of Catwoman’s students, Bruce goes on a rampage to try and stop what Selina’s doing.
During one of his attacks, Bruce is met by Tim Drake. Tim believes in what Catwoman is doing. The numbers show that violent crime is down, but Bruce doesn’t care. In his heart, Bruce knows he’s right. This leads to the Bat Family trying to stop Bruce. Unfortunately, the Dark Knight is too far gone. Instead of taking the time to listen, a fight breaks out.
After escaping the fight (with help from his son, Damian Wayne), Bruce is in his Brownstone contemplating life. He’s wondering if the Bat Family would attack him at home. As that happens, Bruce gets more bad news. He’s being evicted from his home. Now, Batman has lost his family, most of his finances are gone, and he has nowhere to live.
Without a place to live, Batman heads to the Batcave under Wayne Manor. A reminder of more losses he’s taken. As he’s getting ready to delete all traces of Batman from the Bat Cave, the door to the Bat Cave from Wayne Manor opens. Out comes the DC Comics villain Vandal Savage.
As if Bruce Wayne doesn’t have enough going on, a supervillain has learned his secret identity.
